*In addition to regular in-person or at-school therapy, we continue to provide full therapy service hours via Teletherapy for Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy and can serve you throughout the entire state of Florida!

*Teletherapy services are just like in-person sessions but done via your computer, phone or tablet. For these sessions, a caregiver will need to help get your child onto our online platform and may need to participate in the session. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about your child's therapy and how you can support these therapies in your home! Welcome to the Alfano Center, a dedicated provider of occupational and speech therapy in Miami since 2003. We provide professional support to individuals who want to improve their communication skills or who have developmental delays. We also seek to improve their abilities and make it easier to communicate and attend to their duties at home, at school, or at work.
Speech therapy is offered in in person or via Teletherapy in English, Spanish, and Sign Language for monolingual and multilingual hearing or deaf individuals with a variety of communication disorders.
Occupational therapy is offered in person or via Teletherapy in English and Spanish for assistance with daily activities, resulting from sensorimotor, self-help, and postural deficits, including ADD/ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, among others.
Auditory-Verbal Therapy, offered in person or via Teletherapy in English and Spanish, uses listening and spoken language as the primary means of communication for infants, toddlers, and young children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.

We offer all of our services (speech therapy, occupational therapy, and Auditory-Verbal Therapy). in person or via teletherapy to fit your needs and schedule! Teletherapy services can be done if you live anywhere in Florida!
Our Approach
We offer speech and occupational therapies tailored to the unique conditions of each person, including individual therapy sessions and small group sessions for school preparation and social skills building. These sessions can be conducted in our center, at your child's school or daycare, or via Teletherapy in the comfort of your own home. With our experienced therapists, we create individual therapy plans with specific goals and targets. We design these programs to gradually enhance the skills of the individual and minimize the effects of their delays in their everyday lives. Through this approach, we have helped many children and adults live a normal life despite their communication and physical challenges.
